I’m Patrik, a Senior Software Engineer with over 15 years of experience working across major tech hubs in Europe. My journey has taken me through Bologna (Italy), Den Haag (Netherlands), Zürich (Switzerland), and Stuttgart (Germany), where I’ve contributed to significant projects in banking, energy, automotive, enterprise software, and open-source development.

Professional Focus

My expertise centers on Java development, typically with Spring backends, classic web frontends, or more complex desktop frontends (e.g. Swing, Eclipse RCP/SWT). In addition, I have a solid command of Python, TypeScript, SQL, Bash, and HTML, which I typically use in automations, integrations, or UIs.

To complete the figure, I have a solid grasp of Git and Agile/Scrum workflows and tools, and I’m very comfortable with algorithms, model-based engineering, and design patterns.

Open Source Committment

In 2013, I started contributing to the Eclipse Platform. I then became one of the Committers for the Eclipse IDE, gained access as a speaker to international software events, and have gained extensive experience as a consultant.
